'WILLKOMMEN' TO THE GERMAN-AMERICAN SCHOOL OF FORT LAUDERDALE
Are you interested in the German language, customs and culture? Do you wish for yourself or your family members to be part of a high quality and unique German language program and an outstanding educational experience?
The daily Montessori preschool program at The German-American School of Ft. Lauderdale, gives children ages 1-5, the opportunity to indulge in the German or English language in a peaceful Montessori setting.
Our Saturday school, offers German language arts classes for native speakers on the elementary through high school level. Furthermore our program includes German as a foreign language classes for all ages, and art and music classes taught in a full immersion German language setting. All our instructors are highly qualified native speaking educators.
The school also teaches about German culture, customs and traditions and participates actively in the German community, keeping traditional customs alive.
Our pupils participate annually in the “National German Exam' of the AATG (American Association of Teachers of German), the AP German Language and Culture Exam and in the examinations to "The German Language Diploma', administered by the ‘Central Agency for Schools Abroad’ (ZfA).
